Double Shift School System, 1948
Three years after the war, people were just beginning to settle down and the reconstruction of facilities was delayed. The housing was inferior and the classrooms were called "barn classrooms" because of their straw roofs. Even so, there were not enough classrooms and classes had to be held in double shifts. 1948
