| This tomb is located near to the Urasoe Castle remains. On the stele under the name of Kanjun Higashionna are inscribed the following words: "No person has studied Okinawa as he. No person has loved Okinawa as he. No person has grieved for Okinawa like he. He learned and so he loved, he loved and so he grieved. This man was scholar, a prophet, a person who adored his home."
