This kimono is in the Somewakeji style and stencil dyed with designs of nature. It is background dyed on both sides of the fabric. The colors used in this piece are Vermilion. Asagi pink, yellow ocher, and light Kasumi purple in separately dyed backgrounds (Wakeji). The mist patterns are aligned in an slanted lattice inside which waves, chrysanthemums, irises, and brushwood fence patterns are depicted.
