This piece was painted by In Genryo (1718-1767), whose Japanese name is Zamami Yoshi. One of the better known painters in artistic circles of the later Ryukyu Kingdom era. This piece shows characteristics shared with Chinese painting. In 1979 it was designated a Cultural Property by Okinawa Prefecture.
