Kaki-no-hana Castle Ruins
This castle is located on the south side of Kaki-no-hana village in Tamagusuku-son. It is believed that this site was utilized over an extended period of time from the start of the Aji Period (chieftain era) to the Three Kingdoms era. Most of the ramparts are made of piled natural Ryukyu limestone. In 1961 it was designated as a Prefectural Historical Monument by Okinawa Prefecture. Photograph by Bughouse Ltd.
