| This stone was erected to commemorate work on the Haneji Okawa River, a project conducted under the orders of Saion in 1735. It is said the repairs mobilized 100,000 local residents and were completed in about 3 months time. In 1969 it was designated a Prefectural Historical Monument by Okinawa Prefecture.
